Intel is all set to bring its powerful Iris pro processors to desktops – a piece of news that is bound to make gamers very happy. The company had announced its fifth-gen LGA-socketed Core processor with Iris Pro integrated graphics at the Game Developers Conference.
The integrated Iris graphics line was announced along with the new Broadwell chips in January, and the improved 65W socketed Iris Pro 6100 will be shipped with desktops in the mid of 2015.
Intel has teamed up with Raptr to bring a new level of optimization to gamers. It will automatically optimize Intel-based PCs for spruced up gaming performance. Raptr has also created a list of settings for each game using information from Intel. This list is later combined with machine learning and metrics from client machines running Raptr to offer the best group of settings for each time, points out Techradar.

Around 70 percent of the world’s PCs are believed to rely on Intel graphics, and with this move, the firm will ensure that they don’t lose them to AMD.
